Went to trade school to learn welding and struggling to find first job. Feeling defeated.

Finished with an A.S degree in welding pipe and structural steel Fall 2018, and Have two welding certs using NR-232.

Where are all the jobs people parrot on Reddit when it comes to trades.

Staffing Agencies say schooling doesn't matter and won't accept it as working experience.

Joining a Union in my area is close to impossible. Chances are slim to none.

Most jobs that are out of my city reject me because of lack of experience.

Feels like I wasted my time going to learn a trade.

Every passing day I am not welding my skills diminish lowering my chances to passing a weld test.

What are other jobs can I do with my two year degree?
