Since graduating college, I’ve had 6 jobs, each lasting less than a year. How likely is an employer to consider me after seeing that kind of resume?

Long story short, I really just don’t know what I want to do for a long term career. I’ve had a few positions I wasn’t happy in and was able to get my foot in the door at other companies, mainly through friends. I even moved across to country to try something new, and ultimately that didn’t work out either. I landed a job at a company through a friend (we’ll call it company A) when I returned from my out of state move. I ended up miserable there and worked a few odd jobs after that. I am now back at company A due to their demand to fill a role, and I couldn’t pass up the pay. My friend that is now a “higher up” at company A convinced me everything that was toxic in the past was resolved. While he wasn’t necessarily lying, I am slowly realizing that some things at this company just won’t change. I have the urge to start applying elsewhere already (roughly 7 months in) but really don’t want to waste time applying if I won’t be considered. Thoughts?

TLDR; I’ve found myself back at an old job that I don’t think will work out long term. Curious as to how seriously employers take the length of time spent at one job
