I applied, received a call that they would be interested and after several months received an offer for an interview this week. It is for an organization that is a public-private government venture. There is no salary listed and cannot find relevant salary data through glassdoor, etc. I only found similar, but different titles. I have seen ranges from 80 - 100k but that depends on the organization/department structure. I keep reading that I should NOT ask about the salary and only discuss it after they have brought it up. BUT, how do I handle them asking me how much I want? I do not want to undersell myself and leave money on the table and I do not want to go so far out that they will remove me from consideration. Due to the nature of the organization, benefits, degree match up, and potential pay, I can see myself having a career there and maybe never leaving.
