Interviewer for engineering internship: “What sub-discipline/media would you like to work in the most after you graduate?”

How am I supposed to answer this? Do I just lie and say whatever discipline aligns with the company I’m interviewing for? Or be honest? I tried saying I was open to and interested in anything and wouldn’t be able to have a real opinion until I practice it in a real job, but they kept pushing me to give them something specific.
