I was wondering what stem careers involve a lot of travel, I am working towards a stem degree (Previously Chemistry and food tech, but I changed to chem eng because the money is a lot better) if that helps narrow the field. I would like to eventually become a process engineering consultant but I need a dozen years in the field before any company would recognize/value my opinion. I also plan to take a minor in a language, the majority of my professors recommend Eastern Asian languages or German.
Anyway, I would like to know some career paths and if possible any of your experiences working in a position that requires traveling 20% (or more) of the time you are working.
