No one should still stink after a shower. We have to change in a locker room where I work at. I have to hold my breath when I walk by him. The man just smells. I know as westerners we are overly scented. But he doesn’t use deodorant or lotion of any type. And it’s frustrating having to be downwind of him.
He’s African and older 50-55 not sure from where exactly. Where we work we move around a lot and sweat he will take a shower at the end of the day but not use soap.
Do I go to supervisors and say he has bo issues, should I just tell him to use freaking soap and deodorant. He’s not poor or anything it’s not that he can’t afford. I know he had a talking to about it before I even started according to what others say.
I had to explain to a new employee that it wasn’t me who smelled like that because he was walking in front of me and she was behind me.
Is there a tactful way to handle this?
