How do I go about telling a potential employer I was let go from my previous job?

I was let go about two months ago from my position completely out of the blue, and the day after I got back from vacation. I was there for almost two years. The reason they gave was that I violated a company policy.. the one that they had changed two days before I was suppose to return and was never made aware of until I was subsequently let go. I have had 3 interviews since then and have been honest with potential employers about what had happened basically stating “I was let go for violating a new company policy.” And then trying to move past that with what I am qualified for ect. I have found that by giving them this information I have not gotten a call back and feel that I basically sabotaged myself by maybe saying it the wrong way or something. Do I lie and say I was let go for a different reason or try and word it a better way? Any advice helps as I have an interview tomorrow with a great company and want to nail this.
