Got a job offer for a job I want to take. The only downside is the vacation. Should I negotiate?

So, I got a job offer at a company my friend works at. She loves it and says the environment is really great. They gave me the salary I wanted, they have a 401k with some matching, they help with health insurance, they have a transit program that will save me like 50% on travel costs. And the company is large and stable.

The only issue is vacation. I have 8 years of experience in my field and at my current job, I receive 3 weeks vacation which I think is fine.

This new jobs policy is 5 days after 6 months, then 2 weeks after a year, which would be January 2020 for me. Then 5 days sick and 1 personal day on top of that.

Would you guys recommend I negotiate for vacation? What do you think would be appropriate? I'm afraid that what I ask for will be deemed unacceptable or something and that they'll rescind their offer, which honestly, I can't afford for that to happen. I need this job.
