Do you guys think being a Staffing Recruiter is a good resume builder?

I've always worked customer service jobs, call centers, retail, sales, warehouse. I'm a job hopper. Never really felt satisfied or made livable wages. I got a job working for a temp agency, and I'm training to be a recruiter. I feel like it's a great way to pull all my experience together and make something of it. I like the job alot, the people, the hours. But I'm only making 14 an hour, and long time employees dont give me much hope in terms of making much more. My plan is to stick it out 3-5 years, maybe get a part time job to make ends meet, in hopes of building my resume. Do you think this is good experience to eventually land a successful career?
