First time posting here, sorry if I'm breaking any rules. I am in the job hunt and am in the following situation with a company:
*Had an initial phone screening followed by a phone interview with the leader of the team that went very well, felt very qualified, like we were speaking the same language
*Was brought into the midtown offices for an in person interview that went very well - same deal as above, very warmly receieved (wore a suit & tie to this)
*Received a programming assessment I am pretty confident I 100% nailed
This week I got invited to meet with the VP of Business Development at a coffee shop in midtown. My biggest question here is **what do I wear**? Do I treat this like an interview in a nice office, where I would return in a suit + tie, or will I look silly pulling up in a suit and tie for what will probably be a 30 minute meeting in a casual coffee shop?
I just moved to the city and this is my first time interviewing for a company with serious capital behind it. Not sure what the norms are.
tl;dr: Final round job interview (where I may get an offer), but in a coffee shop and not the offices. What to wear?
