Should I tell my boss about a class I'm taking?

I'm registered for a class beginning in January that has nothing to do with what I currently do (honestly I'm thinking of a career change and want to start dipping my toes in other areas).

I often have to stay late at work so I would need to put the kibosh on that every Tuesday once that class starts. I'm wondering if I should tell my boss about the class.

The company I work for has had A LOT of turnover so I feel like this might raise some flags of me quitting. I don;t actually plan on quitting though ,I've only been there 6 months and want to stay at the very least 1 year.
