Is working for two companies at the same time considered unprofessional?

I know a lot of people have side gigs in addition to their 9 to 5 like serving or bartending, however, no one mentions working in two corporate settings at the same time. I currently work full time for one company making 43,000 a year. I was looking to make some extra money so I applied for a part time accounting position that will pay me $20 an hour. I got the job and now I have three days to accept or decline the offer.

I guess this is something I should have thought about before applying. At the time I didn’t think it would be a big deal.
