Idk if this is the correct place to ask but I got accepted to the opportunity I've been wanting with full benefits and great pay. Although it is in an airport so they do have a lengthy background check and I do have a criminal past of theft when I was 18 as well as a DWI. The interview went better than I couldve imagined but I did kind of lie about if there would be any problems with the background check... only bc it was a long time ago as well as being ashamed of it. Should I come clean and let the manager know? I really want this job but I feel awful for lying.
