I'm a Recent College Undergrad With a Major in Biology, but I'm Not Interested in Medicine or Biotech.

<p>I recently graduated from a top university with a degree in Biology (B.A.), and most of my experiences are in education/mentorship (I did all of these things my senior year). Specifically, I was a student lab instructor teaching alongside a graduate student for a class of undergraduate physiology students. I was also a peer mentor for a group of transfer students in the biology department and a literacy mentor at an elementary school. I found that I love social justice, teamwork/building community, and mentoring. It makes me happy to build strong, meaningful relationships with the people I work with and it comes easy to me. I feel fulfilled knowing I contributed to student self-improvement, and that I would always have the support of my co-workers.</p>

<p>I am thinking about applying for HR and college advisor positions because I believe that my skills and personality would thrive in these areas, but I feel I'm not looking deep enough. Would anyone know of any unique positions that can offer a fair wage and still fulfill my interests?</p>

<p>TL;DR I'm in a post-grad crisis. My strengths have always been that I am a people person, and build relationships easily. I want to help people, but I don't know that many career options where my skills would be transferrable, be rewarding, and pay a living wage. Any suggestions?</p> </div><!-- SC_ON -->
