I'm getting interviews but not getting the job. Four interviews and four rejections. I think it may be that I'm not passionate about my line of work.
My Dad pushed me into CT when I was perfectly happy being an x-ray tech because there is more market for a multi-modality tech. He passed away the day I started my full time CT job and then I failed at it, miserably. My skill level could not keep up with their demand.I'm demoralized and feeling inadequate even though I've been in the Radiology field for a decade. Is it insane to consider career change at 35? I just don't know if I should proceed. My lack of confidence in CT must be coming across in interviews. I know I can do it because I still do it part time with glowing performance evaluations from my part time employer. I just think I'm meant for something different. I love law and government (not the people) but I don't want to go to law school. I have a bachelor of science in history and secondary certification in Radiology and CT. What can I do to change jobs? I don't even know where to start.
