I lost company merchandise, should I offer to pay for it?

Long story short I shipped four packages on 11/15. The following Monday I find a shipping label in my printer, which quickly knocked me out of my morning sleepiness as I begin searching to figure out which package is missing a label. After I figure it out I call UPS to report that I shipped a package without a label.

Three weeks later UPS's "lost and found" are saying they still do not have a record of this lost package. My boss is aware of all of this and didn't seem mad, but I feel like at some point it's my responsibility to pay for this (~$215), or at least offer since it was my fault.
