I got a job offer to work at this entertainment venue. The manager who hired me, sent me to their location. I visited, he showed me around, we chatted, then he asked for my availability and when I could start, told me to look over everything and learn several things for the job, and that they'd like me to join the company.
I do everything mentioned, and then suddenly after I sent in my availability and info by email, I basically now get no response from the company at all: phone, email, zip. If I call my manager's direct number or cell, it goes straight to voicemail and I've called multiple times so I know he basically blocked me. If I call the company number, they tell me my manager's busy and can't speak on the phone. No emails get responded. It's an entertainment venue that attracts thousands of people, so I know it's a reputable company, but now whether or not they operate professionally behind the scenes is now in question. What's the best way to respond from here?
