Should I confront my coworker about their lack of work ethic?

I have a coworker B who has terrible work ethic. Our job involves time restrictions and she always takes her time. One of our supervisors A called her out on it, and now every time B works with A, her attitude is foul. She is argumentative, never follows direction and doesn’t understand teamwork. She throws coworkers under the bus for minor mistakes when hers are fixed by us/overlooked. She refuses to do work that is asked of her if it is “outside her JD”. It is uncomfortable and cringeworthy to be third party to her back chat. I would never talk to a supervisor the way she does. As soon as A leaves the building or B works with another supervisor, her work attitude improves a bit, I think because the other supervisors just tolerate her behaviour. Management is aware but there is collective opinion in the office including management that I should talk to B and bring up her behaviour because we are close and get along outside of work too.

Is it appropriate of me to talk to her about her work attitude, rather than a supervisor or management? Not sure what to do but the office is suffering because of it.
