Interview went well 2 days ago, Monday morning. I was told that I was highly recommended, but there are a couple other interested applicants. Hiring manager said that they would be making a decision fairly quickly. I was told sleep on it and follow up the next day confirming I was still interested. I called, no answer, and left a VM expressing my interest and how I knew I would be a great fit positive addition to the culture and workplace, and that I am ready to make the jump. I have not receieved a call back yet, and want to ensure he received the VM. Should I send a follow up email thanking him again? If so, whats an appropriate time frame to do so? I was originally going to email, but felt like calling would be more genuine and am now second guessing my approach as my response could have been more thorough.
