Can I negotiate or am I fired

Thanks in advance for reading and for your input.

I work at a small but lucrative business and have been here the last 8 months approximately. When I was hired they had no systems in place to do the work I do, so it was extremely tedious, expensive, and a very manual process. I came in and overnight automated the processes so that it immediately became profitable and holds a HUGE potential for big income increases for the company. When I started they had no idea these tools existed and had no real long term vision for this. Because of my experience I was also able to get into niche markets and really crack the oyster of potential so to say.

The thing is I was offered a few k more than I made at my previous job (salary acceptance was in a room with 4 other interviewers and seemed like it was take it or leave it). The thing is I want to ask for more since I have so much responsibility here and have had such success so far.

I asked for a performance evaluation and during this discussion I addressed the salary concerns I had, and was told that the two people in charge wanted to meet, but was also told that they had heard I had discussed salary with other people st work and were upset at this. I discussed this in confidence with another manager I thought I could trust and... well, apparently not.

I am currently at low 60s but average pay for what I am doing now is mid 80s to low 90s. I want to ask for 10 to 15 more at the meeting and to ask to discuss another bump in a year, but was told in advance I probably would not get anything until mid next year. This doesn't feel fair because I haven't had any opportunity to address this until now and feel like I should be recognized for it now especially since I have new employees under me, etc. It is clear to ownership I am a top performer and it would be extremely difficult to replace me. In the mean time they would lose out on a lot of profit and be left out without coverage at a very sensitive time to continue what I do.

I want to ask for the 10-15, and if they are not open to this or tell me to wait, ask to be let go, and offer to train one of my reports to cover for me in exchange for a severance. I have sufficient savings to cover if I am fired outright.

I also left my last job for this one for the lower than average number because I was underpaid there too, this was a small boost and got me out of a toxic stressful environment.

Any suggestions on what to do? I don't want to be greedy but communicated it to ownership I wanted to stay long term but would appreciate discussing this so that my pay is comparable to the average in my field.
