After graduating from masters program, I have been applying on and off for about two months. (many more before I graduated, but it didn't go well)
Last week on Thursday, I got an email from a talent acquisition specialist at a pretty-big name company in my field. Since I applied for several roles, he wanted to do an exploratory phone interview.
Friday Last week, I called him and the conversation went on for 15mins. He said I was suited for all the roles I have applied for and asked some standard questions. (Why this company, what is your ideal role out of the ones you applied for, where do you see yourself in 5 years etc)
Nearly at the end of the interview, he told me that it is likely I will at least do an interview (on person). Then he informed me that he will send out my resume to perspective managers (for the roles) and will get back to me pretty shortly. Now, I know it hasn't been that long, but I'm getting anxious by the minute waiting to hear back.
Would it be too much if I were to give him a call back tomorrow to ask the progress of my application? Should I wait another week? What would be the proper way to proceed?
