I'm studying as an electrical engineer (final state exam in January) and currently working as a student "temp" (32 hours) at a multi for very little money. I recently got a well-paying job offer from another respectable company and I'm not sure what to do (the new offer is really good, benefits, salary etc.).
My current company could have hired me since June but the group I'm at doesn't have the headcount yet (could change in a month or two), which means I may only be hired to a different department. Furthermore, my company will only give me an answer in a month, long after the new offer becomes void.
On the one hand, I really like working here with my colleagues (no need to start again at a different place - yay laziness), but on the other hand, the new offer sounds really good and I'm actually excited about it (as are all my friends too).
Should I try to delay the answer for the other company? Should I just go with the "money"? Any advice is welcome!
