So 90 days ago, I started working with this company. Although I only have 1 year working in my particular field, I jumped from a staff role at my previous company to a senior-staff role. My manager started off friendly enough, but then started acting colder as time went on.
During the review meeting, my manager said that my performance was not up to par and that after 30 days, if there is not sufficient improvement, I could face termination. She tells me that as a senior-staff position, I should know how to perform this job without help, however, l have been trying my best, but I feel like I have not been given an adequate environment.
Although I have no doubt that given time, I can improve on my work, but it doesn’t look like I met her immediate standards going into this company and it doesn’t look like she likes me very much. Would it be a wise choice in this case to resign, cut my losses and gain more experience as a staff or try to pull through despite the antagonizing behavior I receive from my manager?
