Today I had an appointment at a job agency and I got a remark for the first time about my age. I'm 28 and I've studied in various fields. I first studied electromechanics in high school and a year in college. Eventually I got into graphic design and got my bachelor degree. Now according to the person I spoke a company will be likely to not hire me or interview me because of my age and the history of my studies. It might suggest that I don't know what I want and am not reliable. In my eyes that's a load of bullshit since I realized I did not want to do a maintenance job for the rest of my life. So should I lie about my age in my resume just to increase my chances landing an interview? Or would that just damage my credibility in the long run?
