Should I disclose that my not-yet-ex-wife has just been diagnosed with advanced stage cancer to potential employers?

Forgive the throwaway account.

I've been jobless since July -- I was forced to resign after they hired a new assistant director who deemed me a bad fit, no matter my performance (which the department director said was better than anyone in the role, in the past)… I've got a wide array of very advanced skills, but a curious career path full of senior-sounding titles and a terminal degree and people can't figure out where I fit; I've sent off 90 applications and heard from 5.

A month ago, my not-yet-ex-wife was diagnosed with aggressive stage-3 breast cancer; as a result, she's asked to pause the divorce process.

I have a final-round interview on Monday for a non-profit position working for a former colleague (she invited my application; we worked in adjacent departments and they're more an acquaintance than a friend). No one but my very close friends know that my "ex" has cancer or the emotional toll it's taking on me.

Should I disclose the diagnosis? I don't want to be seen as hiding it, but I also don't want them to worry that it will affect my performance (it will, but only because I'm human)… but I will admit that the prospect that it may lead to sympathy and a better offer (should that offer come) has crossed my mind.
