Hey this is sorta just a vent/spring board for my current frustration. Im currently in school and have an internship with a nearby startup thinking I would get a different look at how a business like this operates. None of what was discussed in the job description or the interview is what I am currently doing and their hierarchy is very unstructured minus the CEO and one VP. I took this specific one because of their willingness to work with my school schedule and fully understood that I was busy outside of class on the other days. Out of nowhere they start bombarding me with last minute tasks that im unable to drop everything and immediately work on. Because of my constant denying of last minute requests I am getting a ton of attitude sent my way from the people who I report to and its becoming taxing. The biggest caveat here is that the CEO is actually a professor for a course I have to take next semester and am trying to just let time dwindle down until I am done, but it gets tougher and tougher to do. Any advice for how to remedy this?
