In new job, negotiated 4 percent bump above their initial offer, their initial offer was close to a 55 percent overall bump from previous job, in a new industry. I am reading 10-20 percent is a typical counter. Did I fuck up?

Also I am 15 percent bonus eligible and this is a related field but different industry. I guess I can’t let it go that I left 16 percent on the table. Did I fuck up?

My thought process at the time was they were taking a big risk on me in a relatively new industry. So I didnt want to fuck it up with an aggressive counter. Thoughts?
