If I fail in some parts of an online assessment, but succeed in others, would I still get the interview?
Hey guys, I’m applying for a customer service advisor role at a bank and I took a series of assessments. The main one is the personality test which I felt that I failed miserably. The report came through on my answers to scenarios and it stated that I was very receptive to understanding the opinions of customers and I seek to build good relationships. However, I failed on my abilities to take initiative where I would likely to turn to others to get input and support before I would take action. Not only that but I would most likely set realistic goals that would only lead me to not undertake an approach that would tackle the issues that I would be faced with. I would also prioritise getting my tasks completed rather than adjusting my approach based on what I see or hear from customers.
I did however do very well on the numerical and verbal assessments where I scored within the top third of candidates and I also was in the middle third for the checking assessment.
Is it a guarantee that I failed my application? I feel like initiative is the most valuable skill in any job and I would know that I botched my answers entirely. Any help would be appreciated.
