I have a job interview that is very important to me and I would like any advice, tip or suggestion that you think can be useful. I really would like to get this job.
A bit of context: I'm an electronic engineer with emphasis in electronic systems (I graduated 4 years ago) and I am currently a project manager in a company dedicated to design and implement energy efficiency projects.
I have an interview with a very important multinational that is dedicated to manufacturing and marketing access control systems, identification systems, etc.
I am applying to the pre-sales engineer position. Already had 2 skype interviews and this will be the first one face to face.
This is what I should prepare for the interview:
The request I have is for you to plan to do an exec presentation for 15 mins, a subject that you are comfortable with. The subject is for you to choose. You need to focus on how you articulate a message, how you convince your audience and how you behave in a pressurised environment
The second exercise is a 10 mins test for me to evaluate how deep can your technical skills go. I let you choose the subject you feel comfortable with. The objective for you is to demonstrate your technical depth of knowledge of a subject and your passion for a topic. You can bring any technical equipment you like, but make sure it can be operated in the environment of a hotel or an un-equipped meeting room.
I would appreciate infinitely any idea, advice, suggestion that you can give me. Thanks in advance!
