So I had two recent interviews, one at Best Buy and one at Target. I recently graduated from college with a Computer Science degree after having gone back to school after 15 years in retail. I thought I did really well in the interviews, showing that I understand and can do the job and what is expected of me. Both turned me down though and it's causing my depression to skyrocket... It's bad enough that I can't find a software developer job 11 months after graduation, but I can't even get hired back in retail now, even for temporary Christmas help. Is it likely that they're not hiring me because of my degree? Or am I more likely just deluding myself when I think that I did well in my interviews? :(

Does retail really discriminate against recent college graduates?
