Last Friday, I had an interview for a great position. I really thought I did well, and some of the interviewers even informed me at the end I did very well, and also via email with responses to my thank you notes. Even two people who work at the company that I worked with previously sent references, and they were told I interviewed well. Basically two people also told me I should hear early this past week.
Anyway, they told everyone they would know either way by Wednesday at the latest. Of course, I never heard anything. They are hiring between 16 and 30 people for the program. I find out my friend, who interviewed the same time as me, got a position.
Is this a bad sign for me? I don’t know what to think. I know people are going to say just move on, but I want to know if I should hold on hope.
