Is it appropriate to search for a recruiter on LinkedIn for a company you've applied to and blindly message them a couple weeks after submitting the application?
If so is this an ok email?

I recently applied for the Financial Analyst position at Smith Inc. in Smithville and wanted to reach out and introduce myself.
I recently graduated with my MBA, with a major in Finance, while working full-time as a systems/data analyst. In this position I developed ad hoc reports to make data-driven-decisions for pricing strategies. I know I would be a strong fit at Smith Inc. because I embrace change, work well independently or in a team, and am always look for new skills to learn and improve.
