I had two interviews two weeks ago at marketing firm A and marketing firm B. Both recruiters were in-house recruiters for those two companies and the hiring managers for both told me to follow up with the recruiter after a few days to a week. So this past Thursday (week after the interview), I sent a follow up e-mail to both recruiters and both have been clearly ignored. They were both super responsive during my pre-interview stages where we were communicating through e-mails in setting up the interview, asking/answering questions and after two weeks, this leads me to believe that I didn't get the job.
I understand if it's not the hiring manager who refuses to directly tell you if you got it or not, but come on, what's so hard about the actual recruiters to inform me on my status? Very pathetic and unprofessional, in my opinion. What is the reason for this?
