This might be a stupid question but here it goes:
I'm a certified coder just trying to get a foot in the door. Most newky certified coders who don't have any experience have to and just get their foot in the door before they can get a coding job and that is exactly what I'm trying to do. I'm applying for medical records clerk, data entry, and receptionist positions. Should I list my coding credential my resume? It doesn't pertain to these jobs (maybe for a receptionist) but it shows that I'm not a dummy and it shows what I eventually want to do, right?

Should I list a certification on a resume if its not quite relayed to the job I'm applying for?
