My husband got out of the military a few months ago and has 9 years experience in networking. He was a Data Chief for awhile and has a great number of certs (CCNA,Sec+,etc). Many companys are trying to get him, his top two are Jacobs and BAE. But he's so new to the civilian world, he has no idea what to ask for as far as salary. He told them $15 an hour! Obviously hes worth a lot more. Can anyone offer a more realistic salary request? Any words of advice to my husband? Thanks!
