Quitting without a job lined up

I have a job which pays less than it should and I'm forced to work 50+ hours a week without notice. When hired I was told I would come in at 2 and leave by 1030, very rarely would I ever be there past that. But for the past year and a half I've been leaving after midnight at the earliest and for four months they made me come in at noon. I really feel that I need to quit this job but I have nothing else lined up. Would employers look down on this when I go to interviews, is this a bad idea?
