So just graduated from college, and was hired as an intern for a business analyst at a corporate office. Fast forward to August, was hired as a project business analyst so I now work in the project management office here. Heard that project management skills are just about the hottest thing you can have. I'm getting expose you to the sdlc process, the software development life cycle. I was told that after a couple of years I can get my project management professional PMP certification. So I'm technically getting it experience, project management experience, experience as a business analyst. Seems like a pretty package deal, right? Job is pretty stressful sometimes because of the Cutthroat corporate environment. But I'm trying to stay here and not jump ship because I want to have that on my resume. That I stuck it out somewhere even though it wasn't the best place and I made the best out of it and put my best effort in....
So how can I make the most out of this job? I want to get into project management and eventually work one day as a project manager. IT project manager of course. Or maybe as a business analyst one day in the future. But I want to be very competitive. Able to get a business analyst for IT project management job. How can I do that?
