Job offer with a new company, but not sure if it’s enough of a change to make me happy.

I am currently in the market for a new job as I am unhappy in my current one; the work I’m doing, people, supervisor. I have been looking around and recently got a new offer which interests me, but it is in the same industry. The position sounds interesting, but I’m worried if I accept it, it will be more of the same cause the industry is the same. I eventually want to get out of my current industry, but have no solid leads as of yet. I am currently an engineer and the new position, although it would include some engineering, I would have the title of project management.

Would I be making a mistake taking this to be happy to get away from my current company, or would I only be buying happiness temporarily?
