I got an offer I have been waiting for on Friday as I was leaving work so now I get to put in my two week notice at my current job.
Typically I prefer a warm in person sit down handing over of the two week notice. I like to tell my supervisor in person how much I appreciate them and usually I tear up a little..... but this job is a toxic hell hole and even if by some unfortunate twist of fate my new job fell through I cant take it anymore and I want out as soon as possible.
So my question is... I know it is poor form but how bad would it be if I just sent the two week notice as an email on Sunday night so its the first thing my supervisors see when they come in, an hour before I arrive?
Forgivable or should I suck it up and wait until my supervisors have a free moment and do it then?
