Tonight will be my 5th night at this new job. I’m the manager of a warehouse, and I hate everything about it. I’m the only woman in the building (the women’s bathroom is all the way in a shack across the parking lot!), all of my employees are in a union, and I’m expected to wear dress clothes in an environment where dirt is flying all over the place. I need to get out NOW.
