When I was 18 I was charged with a petty theft misdemeanor and a .02 driving infraction. (No need to lecture me on my bad choices, I already know.) Since then every jobs I’ve gotten has asked for criminal record information in applications. My state recent stopped putting a criminal record section in the applications. My question is should I disclose the convictions in the interview, before a background check is performed or not?
