Should I take this job offer?

I'm currently working as a recruiter with a base pay of $3k a month, plus $1k for every hire I place. I don't really enjoy my job, but since I'm an independent contractor I can deduct things like rent, internet, my computer, etc as office expenses.

After applying around for a while, I got a job offer as an Assistant Marketing Manager. The job offer letter puts my salary into an hourly rate for some reason, which I'm confused about- but it's $24 an hour, which works out to $3,840 per month. Is taking a job with a higher base pay but no room for commission an alright move? I've just started getting to the point in my current job where I have placements lined up. And working for an alright base pay and trying to get hires can be very stressful.

Is it worth it to take this other job? I'm not really passionate about what the company does (it's a loan company that doesn't have a great reputation) but it seems to be stable and like my day to day would be less stressful/disorganized than the recruiting startup I'm currently working for. I could also see myself working in marketing down the line moreso than recruiting, but I worry that marketing roles are oversaturated with job applicants.

I really appreciate any help or advice! I graduated from college this past summer and I'm trying to think about financial stability as well as being in a good place for future opportunities.
