After arriving home with my wife and our newborn daughter I felt in my heart that home is where I’m needed. The past 10 years I’ve become an expert in household relocation. (Local, long distance, international, storage) I love what I do every day but the unpredictable hours and always being far from home is now problematic. Being home to take care of my daughter so my wife can get back to work is my goal. She loves to work and I don’t want to hold her back
It’s impossible to know when I’ll finish work, every day I’m somewhere different, and being a driver/leader i can’t be home quickly in case of emergency. I’ve developed tremendous skills over the years that can directly translate to many jobs.
(Ex. Management, billing, customer service, working with a language barrier, networking skills, maintaining positive workplace relations, and many more)
My problem is I’m unable to find an employer that is willing to take me on after reading my resume. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any advice?
