does it look bad to quit a job after working for a year?

so my plans are to go to college while living at home with my mom, and working a part time job. after I graduate, I plan on getting a job for about a year, and try and save as much as I can. after I get a bit of money, I want to quit and move across the country. (currently live in wv, want to move to cali.) I was wondering if, because I quit my job after only a year of working, if it would make things more difficult for getting a job. i plan on being a mental health therapist, if that's useful.
