I am picking my 5 references now and want to make sure I get a good score. I think my current supervisor will give me a sub-par score so I’m afraid to put them down. I can substitute them with a previous boss from a service job I had years ago but I’m afraid that it will look bad if I don’t give a reference from my current job. Obviously this doesn’t matter if the employer doesn’t see who the references come from so I wanted to know if anyone else knows?
