Manager said they would call today or tomorrow and they haven’t called

I had an interview yesterday and I thought it went well. The manager seemed to like me, and so did the assistant manager. I mentioned my Cerebral Palsy to them and how sometimes it might make me go a tad slower, but I can do everything everyone else can and I will absolutely push myself. The assistant manager said he thinks I’m awesome, but they had to talk it over first. They said they’d call me either today or tomorrow regardless of their decision. I also got a new phone number later in the day and I called the store to let them know and someone wrote it down. I’m wondering if they didn’t get the new number to call me at. Anyway, today passed and they didn’t call. Is it safe to assume I didn’t get the job, or am I overthinking?
