Title pretty much sums this situation up. I am currently a foreigner in a country where I just graduated highschool in, and I only have a study permit. I cannot work, and I have already filed to get a work permit. I cant go to university until next year, so I am effectively living here like a leech and every remote job ive searched for has either turned me down (thats if im lucky) or hasnt responded at all. Feel free to try to see a way out of this nightmare.
