I have a masters in psychology but no longer want to go that route after working in the field for several years. Any tips on pivoting to a new area i.e. HR, marketing, etc. ?

I've been looking a lot, even using recruiters, but it seems I just don't have enough experience or maybe my high level of experience in a different area seems like I wouldn't stay around long. Just wondering if anyone has any advice for a career shift like this.
