As a remote worker, I hate going on video for work; not even for personal! I’m in the beginning of the interview process. The recruiter then tells me she’d like to schedule a video call to observe me taking a test. That’s fine. My concern is the future. I don’t want to work for a company that requires me to be on video for meetings all the time. How can I ask this without sounding so…… negative? This increase in remote working is great but now they’re expecting you to be on camera! The whole benefit of working from home for me was that I can travel anywhere and turn my computer on from bed. I don’t wanna have to get ready and look presentable. Your thoughts?
