Do I really have two roles even though I only have the title (and pay) for one?

Originally I was hired as a graphic designer for a company and “social media” was listed as a duty for the role. At the time our company barely posted anything on social media and our accounts were essentially dormant. Over time we have implemented more aggressive social media marketing and the work has fallen into my lap. I’m now responsible for creating content for multiple platforms, analytics, marketing strategy, and engagement. I’m expected to stay on top of this regularly aside from all my client work. I never intended to pursue social media as a career. I also haven’t gotten any increase in pay despite having a heavier workload and asking for a raise. Is this a normal expectation for my industry or just massive scope creep?
